Intercooler

Has anyone replaced the factory intercooler? I ordered a PRL intercooler today and look forward to switching it out. If you watch any of the tuning videos the one problem that keep popping up is Heat saturation. Replacing the intercooler is one of the first mods that is recomended.

It's a bit too expensive for my tastes, but someone did find their IAT2's to be higher following the installation of the PRL intercooler.

Do you have any experience with mishimoto since we're on the topic of intercooler systems.
I remember seeing 8th and 9th civic guys vouching for them quite a bit.

PRL makes quality products and I'm sure it'll make a significant difference in heat dissipation. Do you plan on doing the swap yourself or will you be having it professionally installed?

Being easy enough for even a beginner I won't be surprised if OP is putting in the labor.

HondaHeaven I will be doing this myself. I have always done my own mods.

Any chance we'll get a look at it once you get it installed? I would imagine that you'll see a significant decrease in overall temperatures. Is there going to be any way to measure the difference?
